My Response: -

I wanted to look into different ways of visually representing information as well as cartography, I chose two areas (Old Kent Road & Tottenham Hale) and chose a colour and with 3 different shades, I began to use to the colour of the type that replicates the road that the looking/arson took place. When researching cartography I really liked how Jodie Silsby (Image above) mapped the verbal vernacular of an area, I liked how different slang words would make a smaller road, or a main road would be bolder and would stand out more.
